Have you tried email? I know it sounds dumb but sometimes its easier to talk if you don't feel like you are going to be interrupted (interrogated?) . Plus she doesn't have to look at you, which can be confronting.
If the conversation is too sensitive for cyberspace, perhaps an old-fashioned letter might work. Or else trap miss teen in the car for a long drive - that always worked for my mum. Hope that helps ↑ |
hi im 16 and dont do any of those things they are great ideas but trust me my mom tryed to get me to talk for a while and it just made me more mad the more she tryed to see whats wrong if ur daughter feels like somethings wrong she will come to you and also sometimes theres nothing really wrong with us we just want to be left alone and then if theres something we want to tell we will but if we feel like we dont need to tell people we wont its just how us teen girls work now a days ↑ |
