| Sorry I didn't answer you the first time.I just haven't checked this for quite a while.Well,I'm 37 and I've got 2 daughters and I am divorced.Me and my husband divorced when diana was 5 years old.I'm running in the same circle as you.LOL.Thats what my daughter says.I would be so old fashioned if i didn't have my daughters.They're the ones that teach me everything nowdays. ↑ |

| I know what you mean. i am really surprised and a little concerned about some of the things that are brought up at these forums some of these are heart breaking situations. my son deals with depression some times and my daughter can make you feel real old. but i havent had to face any of these situations .my prayers go out to them. ↑ |

| My daughter,Karen is going through that stage where she gets embarrased by me and she doesn't want me to meet her boyfriend because she says that the first sight he'll see of me and he'll dump her straight away.My daughter,Diana is starting to like boys and she's none stop talking about this boy that goes to her school.And it's soooo hard without anyone.All my family died in a fire when I was only 12 and i've only got my sister. ↑ |

| im sorry about your fire and the lose of your family.when my son was 8 and my daughter was 6 days old (shes 8 now) we had a house fire and lost everything . we had only lived in our new house 4 months. it was horrible.we almost didnt get out .it was 2;30 am and i had waken up to nurse my daughter and immediatly new something was wrong. my husband of 22 yrs and i ran upstairs and got our son and then got our baby and we ran out the door only to feel the whole house combust all the windows seem to just shater it was a weird feeling. but all that mattered was that we were safe.we rebuilt the house and slowly recovered. but we are very sensitive to others in that situation,and have many a time sent food or money. enough of my rambling. hopefully i will talk to you tomorrow. ↑ |

| I'm very sorry about that fire.It must have been horrible.It was horrible for me when I was sleeping over my auntie's house and they called me that night at midnight telling me that there was a fire and all my family exept my sister had died.my sister was with me at the time of the fire.but anyway,that happened a long time ago.How old is your son? ↑ |

WOW! we had a sleepless night last night.we live in tenneesse and its tornado season.we live high enough to were there is not a hugh affect but we still get some damage.like trees blown down and patio furniture across the yard. where do you live? oh and my son is 16 he will be 17 in nov. but he is still my baby all 6 ft of him.and my daughter is 8 and will be 9 in oct. ↑ |

buying a house can be nerve racking. no way !! are you really from england? that is one place i have always wanted to visit. my son is very interested in art and he would like to visit all of the museums.and my daughter would like to visit the royal palace because her name is victoria elizabeth she thinks shes royalty.you know that princess attitude.and she THINKS she rules here!! ha ha . what are your daughters into , besides boys?

| Yesterday I saw a house and it has the sign for sale.My daughters got in love with it the moment they saw it.It looks like I might by it.It's very cheap and i'm going to see the house tomorrow.Karen is into street dancing.She's a great street dancer.And diana does balley and i just put her into street dancing with her sister.She seems to like it.I hope to hear of you soon. ↑ |

Hey ! Good to hear from you. Have I told you my name?I can't remember.Its Andrea. What is street dancing? my Victoria has taken ballet since she was 3 she is also taking jazz and tap.They do the classes during the school year and take a break during the summer.She is miserable during that time she lives to dance! I would love to audition her for some of the musicals that come to Memohis like the Nut Cracker Ballet and the Christmas Carol.
But we can only afford for her to take dance twice a week and I think she would have to take at least 6 hrs a week. Can you imagine! between scholl and dance she wouldn"t have time to breath.Believe me she would love it. But I try not to over load my kids with activities.I know what you mean about falling in love with a house.We feel in love with ours immediatly. keep me informed on you house hunt have a good day. ↑ |

| Hi Regina Our church had a Mother and Daughter English Tea to celebrate mothers day several groups of women decorated 24 tables in different themes and everybody dressed up in hats and gloves I took my daughter and mother-in-law (we get along pretty well) we drank tea and had fancy foods.We have a family from England that has been her about 8 months her husband was transfered to do research at LaBouner childrens Hospital here in Memphis. She helped to keep it authentic She also gave us a long history of the tea and the proper English way to have afternoon tea.I was all very spiffy. We had "Girl Time" as my daughter calls it. How is your house hunting going.I know here in the south you almost have to give away your first born or so it seems to get a house,only because of al the paper work involved. Talk to you later. ↑ |

| Street dancing is a bit like gymanstics but dancing is included.So,they do stuff like cartwheels and summersalts and do dancing at the same time.My house hunting is going very well,I've already decided what house I'm going to by.It's the house I told you about.Hope to hear of you soon! ↑ |

hello well im not a mother im a daughter but me and my mom are having trouble. lately these days weve been having arguments. and whenever we fight she also gets mad at my dad and now theyre thinking of divorcings., i know that i talk back a lot but my mothers says bad words to me all the time. whenever she gets mad with someone else she takes it out on me. i like being with my mother when were both happy but she just cant control her anger. Since your a mother can you please tell me what i should do ?

Im so sorry! Do you have a AIM? If you do maybe we can talk there. But if not can you try to let here know how you feel. Maybe when she's calm tellher. I don't mean to make you upset but it makes me feel real bad in side when you call me names.If she gets mad at that .Don't over react stay calm just tell her your sorry and you just wanted to let her know how it made you feel . Then leave it at that.Give her time to cool down and think about it and maybe it will sink in. If not remind her very time she does it .Does she hit you?when she's that mad? Sorry that I haven't been on lately.It's just the moving house and we went on a holiday because in England everyone has a week off.And we went to Menorca.It was lovely.My daughter,Karen has been a bit upset since she came back from holiday because her boyfriend broke up with her.And Diana was upset too but the reason for that was because she didn't want to come back from her holiday.
