Go to PFLAG website and read their suggestions for telling parents--they have some bklets you can download. Then be available later for questions and discussion--my 15 yr old son told us, then didn't seem to want to talk about it anymore. We're open-minded, but it is still hard for us. (Michael wrote in with a question about this, but I wasn't able to send it back to him for some reason.) ↓

PFox is a site to make people stop being gay--not good for someone looking for help telling parents they're gay. ↑
