Every time I look in this forum there are pregnant 15 year olds posting here. MY GOD, go on the pill, use condoms, go on the pill AND use condoms.
You should be at school and with your friends, listening to music and going out, not on here asking for pregnancy advice.

Get yourselves a life so you dont feel the need to immerse yourself in adult issues and situations!
Seriously, EVERY time I see a 15 year old post, I think to myself, Oh, another DICKHEAD, and most the time dont even read them.

And then you turn around and blame the teenage father for taking the bolt. Birth Control is YOUR responsibility!!!!
Not the fathers. Its YOUR body that gets pregnant so you should be the one taking measures and precautions to stop yourself from becoming pregnant. No one can open your mouth and shove the pill down your throat, and the fact that you should be carrying and using condoms is a GIVEN because of the risk of STD's. For god sakes you girls, if you want to be so grown up that you actually want to be mothers, first PROVE it by using birth control and by NOT getting pregnant before you are emotionally and financially stable enough to do so!

A lot of these girls WANT to get pregnant. Go get yourself a puppy or something if you want something to cuddle!

Sarah, Im not having a go at you. Your an adult.

I want to know where these girls parents are?! At 15 they havent got the maturity and intelligence to make these kinds of decissions, including- having sex.

Then they come in here an whinge about it when they end up falling pregnant!?! This forum is suppose to be a positive experience to share ideas and talk to other women. Its not suppose to be a dumping ground for 15 year olds who have got themselves in a pickle....and want to know whether to have abortions...etc...etc...

They should go to a teenage pregnancy site and get professional help. By "Single Parents" I take it they mean adults who have seperated, widows...etc etc....
They dont mean 15 year old kids who have got pregnant and whinge about how the teenage boyfriend wont conform to their demands. This forum is over run by pregnant 15 year olds with problems. No one wants to come in here anymore.

And YESSSSSS....pregnant 17 year olds are JUST as bad.

Hiddy I agree with you. I tried telling one teenager why it is not a good thing to try and get pregnant. Bitchy started attacking as usual. I think these teens need to know why it is not a good idea so I posted this in another thread:

Yes it does matter that you are a teenager. Here is why....

Teenage births create health risks for the baby including the following:

Teenage mothers are less likely to gain adequate weight during their pregancy, leading to low birthweight, which is associated with infant and childhood disorders and a high rate of infant mortality. Low-birthweight babies are more likely to have organs that are not fully developed, which can result in complications such as bleeding in the brain, respiratory distress syndrome, and intestinal problems.

Teenage mothers tend to have poor eating habits and are less likely to take recommended daily multivitamins to maintain adequate nutrition during pregnancy. They are also more likely to smoke, drink, or take drugs during pregnancy, which can cause health problems for the baby.

Teenage mothers are less likely to seek regular prenatal care. Prenatal care is essential for monitoring the growth of the fetus; keeping the mother's weight in check; and advising the mother on nutrition and how she should take care of herself to ensure a healthy pregnancy. According to the American Medical Association, babies born to women who do not have regular prenatal care are 4 times more likely to die before the age of 1 year.

In addition to increased health risks, children born to teenage mothers are more likely to experience social, emotional, and other problems:

Children born to teenage mothers are less likely to receive proper nutrition, health care, and cognitive and social stimulation. As a result, they may have an underdeveloped intellect and attain lower academic achievement.
Children born to teenage mothers are at greater risk for abuse and neglect.
Boys born to teenage mothers are 13% more likely to be incarcerated.
Girls born to teenage mothers are 22% more likely to become teenage mothers.

Other Consequences of Teenage Pregnancy
Teenage births are associated with lower annual income for the mother, 80% of whom eventually rely on welfare.
Teenage mothers are more likely to drop out of school and only about one-third obtain a high school diploma.
Teenage pregnancies are associated with an increased rate of delinquent behaviors in the fathers, including alcohol and substance abuse, lower educational level, and reduced earning potential.

In the United States, the annual cost of teen pregnancies from lost tax revenues, public assistance, child health care, foster care, and involvement with the criminal justice system is estimated to be about $7 billion. =

When i was 15 all i wanted was a baby, but I was raised better than that..I knew I was still a kid. Nearly all the girls i went to school with by the time they were 20 had 4 kids to at least 3 different fathers and wonderd why they were being called Sluts.. Having a baby is such a huge responibility and you need a stable and loving family to raise a child... Everytime i see a kid pregnant I think that poor baby.. Unless your ready to do everything for that baby, dont have a baby...There a plenty of childless couples out there that would love a baby and here are 15 year olds getting pregnant casue they dont know how to use protection.. Do they not know about STDs??Isnt is illegal to have sex before your 16? Maybe they should inforse that and if they have a baby before then make them give it up for adoption , your breaking the law.. I know not everyone will like my opinion but thats how i feel..

I have to agree with Hiddy....I do understand that there are accidents as I am pregnant with an unplanned baby...but I am also 25 years old and have experienced some life experieince....I started having sex at a young age also and you know if i knew then what i know know...I wouldn't have been so freely giving of my body...

Hiddy it is such a teenage mentality to think they are invinclible and can go through life without coonsequences...little do they know the road that lies ahead...but then again they don't have the life experiences to know what road lies ahead so there screwed...

GIRLS SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT IT! i am not putting anyone down and will not be that person to hate on you for having a teenage pregnancy...but i will also not be that person that says its okay...

See Amy,
You just proved you are not mature with your reaction to momo.

Name: momo | Date: Dec 8th, 2006 8:49 PM
Funny i don't think i reacted in such a negative light to recieve that kind of reaction from you...i did say that i would not hate on you...in fact i would be there if you needed advice...i just stated from my personal experience how i felt about teenege pregnancy...you are over reacting ....

If you think i am juging you i wasn't...I was stating my feelings and opinions on a subject because i have the experience that you lack...i think if you teeager girls would take the time to listen to us older ladies
and really soak in what advice we have to offer than you would make different life choices....I wasn't a teenager that long ago...i have not forgotton what its like, but I have grown up so much that I do know that what i knew when i was 17 versus what i know now is far greater than you can even concvieve at this point...cuz if you did you would not be pregnant....

Oh and Amy...

I applaude you for stepping up to the plate and not having an abortion...while that choice to take responsibility is not for everyone...as i don't thinks its always wrong....I have never had an abortion...I have a 4 year old and one on the way...I am far from perfect..i know that...As i have made made many mistakes....but i did not comeo one here trying to attack you or anyone else younger for your choices...i only wrote my opinion

Well i think Amy and Emma are doing a fantastic job for teen mums.

There is no way in hell back when i was 16-18 could of had and raised a child.

Name: momo | Date: Dec 8th, 2006 9:14 PM
I know i couldn't have either.....I just wish they could see i wasn't trying to attack them...nor did i say they were bad people...

Name: l3itchyl3unny | Date: Dec 8th, 2006 10:42 PM
I know you wernt Momo,

Just that there have been some cruel posts by previous people on the site saying that they are terrible people.mothers. And i guess if you hear it all the time you can get really defensive.

Dont worry about it too much!

Name: Hiddy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 1:27 AM
What I want to know is....where are these girls parents?

Amy, yes, accidents happen, I know. And after they happen theres not much you can do. However, isnt prevention better?
My girl wont be sleeping with boys at 15 because she wont have the damn opportunity to do so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks sarah hunny hehe ur great, btw to m i dont care what you think but i get enough dirty looks from where i come from i come on here away from them not to get more abuse, oh and im not 15 im 17 i didnt have sex till i was 16 and my bf admitted to me he wanted to get me pregnant so obviously not my fault it seems the only person in here what cares is sarah, mspeach and some others also but others just slag us teens off because they like to think there so uptight i have enough of that in the snobby village i live in

Name: amy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 2:19 AM
momo i really dont care what you think about my attitude that dont make me a bad mother you all thought sarah had a bad attitude but once we all got to no her we loved her lol.... people on here judge because of a swear word how sad, hiddy can i ask you somthing how old are you and how old are your kids or kid because upto 21 your still classed as a teen mother

Name: amy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 2:20 AM

Name: l3itchyl3unny | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 3:06 AM
I think hiddy is late 30's.

And well 21 isnt a teenager.......i guess once the TEEN drops off your age then you become a adult! Lol
like NINETEEN.......
TWENTY...... get me?

Name: Hiddy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 3:16 AM
Yeah, I know that Amy, but there comes a time when it is social acceptable you know? There are PLENTY of 19-21 year olds out there that are married, have jobs and are mature enough to have children too. Come to think of it, there are plenty of women 19-21 who have themselves together enough to do it alone.

Name: amy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 12:26 PM
whats the point in getting married? it all turns out into aload of mess anyway, why do americans think that its only right to have babys if your married it sucks because getting married for a babys sake now thats cruelty not been nasty hiddy im sorry i started this all debate thing but i just hate the fact you start judging teens just because they got pregnant its not a crime

Name: amy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 12:27 PM
a mean at 15 i wanted babys but i didnt plan to have them while i was older i couldnt imagne me having kids at 15, im soo glad iv had ellie because she has changed my life for the better

Name: Hiddy | Date: Dec 9th, 2006 9:42 PM
As I said Amy, you cant change it now, when its done, its done.
Im talking more about prevention. I know how you feel about your child, I have a daughter too. Your certainly not going to say its a mistake once you have her to hold - and nobody blames you! That would be impossible!

Name: amy | Date: Dec 10th, 2006 12:44 AM
sorry hiddy i just dont like people judging im sorry hunny x

Name: Tess | Date: Dec 10th, 2006 1:22 AM
