I am an Black male and my daughters mother is White and Dominican. She has long black hair, light fair skin and bright blue eyes. She looks nothing like me.

In return... In public strangers will literally leave their own children, cart, purse ... etc to compliment my child. That's all well and fine but...

Today an Black woman with atleast 5 toddlers and one one the way was in shock. She was looking around my kid like a product on a Wal-Mart shelf.

"Omg she is BEAUTIFUL! ... Her light skin ... those gorgeous eyes... I will trade you all mine right now (awkward laugh)."

Jordyn (my daughter) was amused of this situation which relieved me.

This "light skin" thing goes to far when you circle around children ... Especially mine.
