OK class, let's review.
#1. You get pregnant from sexual intercourse.
#2. The way you find out if you're pregnant is by taking a test.
#3. If you think you're old enough to parent a child, get a new puppy and see if you can handle that first. Stay home with it 24/7. Oh and by the way...don't pawn it off on your parents.
#4. Think about your education. Do you want to be 30 and living on welfare because you have 5 kids, no education and no other means of support?
#5. It's not cute or cool to have a baby at such a young age. It's also not a funny game. It's a responsibility and it's shameful that an innocent baby should have to be raised by a baby.
#6 Being a mother is a 24/7 responsibility. If you have to work (or go to school) you don't pawn the baby off on your parents, you PAY to provide child care or even better, you get to stay at home with your baby because your husband is a good provider. You PAY for a sitter if you want to go out to dinner. YOU pay for diapers, doctor visits, clothes, etc. Do YOU have a JOB?????????? Oh, also, if you think your 15 or 16 year old boyfriend is going to provide for you and your child...keep dreaming.
# 7 Abortion is NOT BIRTH CONTROL. It is murder

Are there any more questions? Wake up girls.

may I ask if this is directed at all teens/ young women or just the stupid ones?

why would it be directed to all teens or young women? I know women who became mothers at early ages and did a beautiful job with their children. i don't think it's fair to call anyone stupid either. i suppose the post is directed to very very young teens and those who look at having a baby as a game of sorts. it just seems like so many posters are just searching for love and attention and they think they'll get it through having a baby. it's just sad to me...

I am not a teen but if the mother, regardless of age, will not be a fit mother, I don't think that they need to go through with raising it, there are many choices and being a female in the 21st century they can choose. I would much rather the teen had an abortion that give the child to it's mother to raise and run off to have sex with the next 10 boys on the block.

A lesson in biology for those who did not study it as extensively as I did: At one week old the fetus is so small that would not be noticeable if you had a miscarrage then (which happens frequently). If you search the size of the fetus per month on the internet or in a book, or better yet go see the Body Worlds exhibit, you will see that what christians believe to be a full human is really very small and I believe that the baby gets it soul when it is born, otherwise many souls would just recycle back again since a lot of problems occur during pregnancy.

It is a personal decision. This does not mean it is right or wrong. Abortion is a last resort.

Hello I am a teen mom and I think it has been great! now don't put teen moms down! I take care of my little girl and go to school and her dad works. We even have our own place so don't act like we are not all ready, no one ever is but you can work with what you got and do your best when you get what you maybe did not want ( a child). I love my little girl and would not give her up for nothing. thank you from reading and hopfuly I at less let you see there are some good in teen moms we do love our kids and do our best with them just like a 20 or 30 year old could do. thank you

ABORTION is MURDER regardless of how far along a woman is. I got on the planned parenthood website and cried at the stories of abortion. One woman had an abortion at 23 weeks just another week and that BABY would have had a fighting chance at surviving outside the womb (our friends daughter was born at 24 weeks and is now a happy, healthy, 8 year old). I think it is a selfish form of birth control used by woman who are too heartless and self absorbed to make an adoption plan for their untimely births. I can totally understand a womans right to choose to parent or not but I can't understand why a woman would choose to KILL her baby over giving that BABY a chance at a wonderful life.

I agree with you Ashley. There are some really great young mothers out there! Kudos to you for being such a wonderful mother and support to others.

I also agree that abortion is murder. Thank God that our daughter's birthmom chose life!

When it says if you think you are old ehough to parent a child, get a new puppy....that doesn't make any sense.

I have raised plenty of animals and baby animals and they are nothing like rasing a baby. All because you can handle a puppy doesn't mean you can parent a child.

Melissa....I agree with you. Raising a child is a million times more difficult than raising an animal. My point was exactly that. If you go down to the origional posting you'll see where I added "Stay home with it 24/7. Oh and by the way...don't pawn it off on your parents." Meaning...puppies are hard enough...let alone a baby!

Amy, did I step on your toes?

I never claimed to be brilliant, but it does look to me that you definately need to stay in school by reading your posting. I know and have seen many wonderful examples of teen mothers and I was not judging in anyway, just trying to shed light on how difficult (yet rewarding) it is to be a mother.
