i'm 29 yrs old . i have been married for almost 5 years and live in the bahamas. i'm 4 months pregnant with our 2nd child and i'm in an abusive relationship both mentally and physically. it is very expensive to live here both for housing and for school. we have a beautiful daughter. i am trying to leave my husband and i feel stuck. we have no savings. we live in a house rent free given to us by his parents. i am not working. our property that we bought is not in my name. i have been in the bahamas for 15 years now but i am a US citizen. what can i do to get financial help if i were to move back to the states - pregnant and with my daughter? any suggestions on how to begin? thanks

Call the airlines and see if they would be able to help you. Maybe they could give you a free ticket to the US. If that doesn't work why don't you call your friends in the US or Bahamas and as to borrow some money for plane tickets. I don't know for about this next bit of advice but can't you go to a US embassy or something and tell them your story? They're suppose to be there to help Americans. Well, I hope you get out soon. Let us all know how it goes.
