my daughter was 12 weeks early and started to do things a little later but she's caught up now and then some even competing it sports at schooldont worry he will be fine also boys sometimes take longer to go through the different development stages but they do catch up in the end and thats when the real trouble starts

Relax--some babies never crawl. My neighbor went straight to walking when he was ready, and 10 months is a bit early for that.

My son was 4 weeks early and not only did he really never crawl but it took him 18 months to walk. I don't think it has anything to do with being a premie...it just depends on the child and how lazy they are. Believe me, when they want to get around...and crawl and walk...they will do it and find a way. I would not worry at all. My son did nothing till he was just about 18 months..and he was a big boy and I had to carry him every place, but eventually he walked and before you knew it..he was into everything!

Some babies never crawl at all, including full term babies. Try not to worry too much.

I think your son is okey, But go to the dr. I don't think being a Premie has anything to do with it, my sister was a premie and she way fine. He could be just taking he's sweet time with life.
