My daughter is 13, and was diagnosed in July with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. It keeps her out of school a lot. Then in February, things became more complicated when she developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in her back. She's been staying home alone during the day as her dad and I both work. She will be getting homebound education. My biggest concern is, her condition is becoming worse, and she does fall when she tries to get around. We have a two story house, and all the bedrooms are upstairs. She uses the handicap toilet topper (not sure what it's called). Does anyone know if I could get disability benefits to be able to stay home and take care of her? Right now, if I'd apply, I think our income is too high (although not really a high income). But, our needs are changing, she has a disability and needs care. Does anyone have any ideas what to do? Thanks!
