I just wanted to share this with everyone!
I have a 12yr old boy who is very disabled and this is a nice story for a change, hey!
My 14yr old nephew rang me one night and asked me if it was ok the he do his school talk on disabilities about his cousin Todd, "of course" I said!
He came over the next weekend and stayed and we put together some information for his speech the following week!
2 weeks past by and my nephew Jack rang me with great news one night, he'd done his speech that day, it all went well and his Teacher was very impressed with his knowledge and his personal view on what our family faces everyday!
Well Aunty Kim was chuffed at how well he went and now awaiting the final marks!
Week 3 I get the call I've been waiting for from Jack! A very excited Jack informs me that he got top marks out of his class for his speech !!!! Well done mate!
Cheers!

Hi Lindalu!
Well he has just about everything you can have! Severe Spastic Quadriplegia, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Hearing and Vision Impairments, ADHD and recently diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder!
Jack talked about "Cerebral Palsy" and it's affects on Todd's life and his family!
Cheers!

You sound like you have your hands full. It is verry diffacult dealing with a special needs child. I would like to say I am sorry but it does not seem write to say. I have a daughter with a disability, people will tell me they are sorry. I know they are beeing kind but I am useto her needs so there is no need for some one to be sorry for me. As I said it can be stress full and trying at times but I would not have my daughter any other way. Again your story was verry nice! I hope the best for you and your son.
