My daughter kate has been sick for a week with this nasty respiratory flu we have all had it...anyway she is really behind with home work...So, we are sitting doing her 2 digit multiplication....OMG...I didnt think she would ever get it...Poor baby...But then about after the 4th sheet half way down....SHE GOT IT.....thankyou,Thankyou, Thankyou....Im so relieved....No we are going to practice them every day...I kept the worksheet and i will give her a couple a day just out of the blue to work on...I want this to be a breeze for her....Oh man I hated math...I dont want her to. ↓

| My DH is the history tutor LOL! I help with spelling..and some social studies...We both do math and we both arent great at it...sometimes Im the one being taught...But we are always there at the school getting all the homework and making sure we can help....We just tell them hey we suck at this you have to help her with it...Or help us help her...I used to be afraid to let them know we didnt get it..But who was learning then..a lot of parents have to get help..Never be afraid to ask..They respect the ones that do.. ↑ |

| i'm glad hubby is really good with math and science, cause i sucked royally in school...but i'm the whiz speller and he sucks royally at that, so it's a perfect balance i think for when our kids get older and start school!! :-) there's no way i can do math!! lol ↑ |

| Ugh Layne I was the SAME way in grammar school, drove my parents crazy. I was in the gifted program but yet I could not "get" multiplication. And it was soooo frustrating, I learned by these multiplying songs, math has NEVER been my strongest suit but now since I had to work sooo hard at that I am pretty good at it but only up to like College Algebra and I tutor highschool Math/Algebra (I know right)! I had to take Calculas and my brain completely shut off and I could have sworn the teacher was speaking another language! ↑ |

OMG....no I never took those hard math classes...I was always in beginning math and I always had help with it in a resorse room...I dont have any idea whar we'll do when she gets to high school maybe a IEP and they will have to help her at school or I will be hirering tutors. LOL! Even Algebra was greek to me....
I cant even think of it and I shutter...I better think of today and worry about the rest as it comes..LOL! ↑ |

Algebra took me forever too, because I am so much of a "why" person and I want to know why that happens or why that is the formula and yeah just didnt go over well... took me summer school and night school plus regular class to stop making it so hard on myself! Finally just got it and taught myself! Ahh well school can be so hard! ↑ |

| i hate math...i've always been illerate when it comes to that... : ( ...now, english...i can tell ya anything you need to know..but math....i've always struggled....in high school i took trig...i dunno why...i wasn't good at it anyway..i just needed it for college prep...but i flunked it : ( ...so it didn't help me...it just hurt me. ↑ |
