Everything in my house is going absolutley bloody mental. The twins woke up and 8.30 this morning which is amazing for them and I didn't wake up till they woke me. But since they've woke up they have beenn screaming and crying non-stop. They are so irritable. This morning, I think Poppy woke up first, she squealed so loud and so shrill as if some nasty knifemaniac had gotten in her room, she woke up Daisy (they wake up eachother so easily, they share a room) and I got in and all their soft toys had been chucked on the floor. At the moment they are strapped firmly into their highchairs eating petit filous, grapes and raisons behind me. Only Poppy keeps doing this classic glare thing, or attempt at a glare, makes me wet my knickers eachtime. Any ideas as to why both my usually docile children are behaving like tired little maniacs? they went to bed at usual time, 7.30 and woke once at 4.00am, and they slept on an extra 2 hours so why the hell they are both irritable I dont know. ↓

| lol I had 2 days of that from my son.. He just does it occansionally I think its when he gets bored... ↑ |
| Maybe give them a bath, that always help to chill mia out a bit. lol ↑ |
| I took mason out for the day.. went to the park and chilled and he was fine! ↑ |
| on top of that, my mum is nagging at me constantly to start the roast dinner, ring around the nurseries to try and get a little job to go on my UCAS application, she's moaning at me to tidy the twins room as it's a little messy. She's moaning at me to do some shopping. I have way too much to do, im at work in about 4 hours and I cant do anything with the twins the way they are, im afraid they hate me so much today they may start a fire or something like that (no, just jesting, doubt they'd do that) do you reckon somehow they have skipped 12 years of their life and are now suffering the hormone effects of 13 year olds going through puberty? Beware, they have now finished their "yumyums" and I shall release them, but keep them in this room as my mum is going a littke schiz about the mess they are leaving everywhere. If she gives me a chance I will tidy it all up! Paul is in bloody Berlin on a language thingywajoolig, James has decided to take Rory (his other child) to alton towers, he asked if he could take the twins but I was in such a crappy mood I said no. But now I half wish he did, it would be so funny to see him struggle with them today! ↑ |
| we've had baths. We had one together as my hair was really greasy. They wer ehappy in the bath but when we got out, they screamed at me again. Theyr just really angry. I think last night they organised a rebellion against me. I will take them out if I ever finish this bloody essay! ↑ |
| how old was Mason when he had those 2days? ↑ |
emmaaaaa biatch! i havent talked to you in forever!
How are you doing? ↑ |
| Since about 18 months.. I think all kids go threw it but i've sort of worked it out he only does it when he's bored... We were at home for 4 days straight and he started... ↑ |
| just put some music on, that usually makes them do a crazy jig type thing......hope it works! ↑ |
| hey sarah, you alright, hows your little laddie? ↑ |
| I know its early and I have a roast dinner in a couple hours, but i have decided to bugger my healthy eating and eat a bag of crisps. Im stressed! ↑ |
| okay iv had it, we're going to invite nextdoors little ones over, theyr moving next week, and her two are best buds with mine.... ↑ |
hiya........ya i'm good tired but eh! what can you expect with a newborn.
He is great.......a very happy healthy bubs. Have you seen the pics i posted of him on myspace?
He is looking cuter everyday i swear :)
ANd yes try the warm bath idea..there is a shampoo here..thats actually a night time calming lotion. So far its worked for Oliver......im not sure for your daughters..and if you even have it there.
Oh and a glass of warm milk........try that? ↑ |
ohhhhhh and this is time consuming but MIGHT work
This is a trick my grandpop used to do to me.......hodl there hands until they start to drift off to sleep then replace your hand with a paw of a teddy bear they might have.
I swear to god the kid wakes up and still thinks you are beside them holding there hands.
Also try and put a tshirt in bed with them that has your smell on it.
Another thing maybe they are eating or drinking something that is making them more alert. Have you been giving them something that you usually havent been? ↑ |
| Claire has family over to help her pack! How rubbish is that? My sister has forgiven the twins though and they are all out in the garden with the rabbit. They still aren't smiling but, christ! Does he have a regular time he wakes up in the morning? does he wake at all through the night? ↑ |
Oliver? Well there have been quite a few nights lately where he has been a real terror..waking up nearly every hour or 2 hours and taking FOREVER to settle.
Last night was good though i actually managed to get 5 hours block sleep..but in the long run i actually think it made me feel more tired and miserable today.
Only because i think that i'm in such a routine of not having any sleep at all..Lol
And thats a HUGE things for me..im usually used to 10 -15 sleep :| because i was enemic..and everything else i really did need it all. But i seem to be coping fine..for now that is ↑ |
| Ok well i'm off, good luck with the kiddos ↑ |
| No I havent been giving them anything. Good ideas sarah, iv wrote them down! Im quite fussy on what I feed them, I do allow them treats and things but im so weary of this obesity crisis over here that i give them alot of fruit and yoghurts! They dont drink fizzy as I think theyr too young, they had champagne at new Year, but I was very poorly myself and they kept making a run for my champers so I gave them some of my finger which they went crazy for so they had lil drop, didnt knock them out like I hoped. They were awake at midnight though at half eleven they were very sleepy but I kept them on my lap and we cuddled till midnight. It was really nice, as mum, my bro and sister all went to bed to watch telly at 10.30! ↑ |
| aww bless Sarah, Did you mean aneamic, ( think thats's how its spelt) I am too. Hope he settles soon. The first 2 week of the twins lives were awful. We lived in the flat when we got out of hospital and I dont think anybody could sleep in them easily. They cried so much, I found it so hard. There was so much to do, and nowhere near enough time. There were so many times when I actually felt I hated them, my purple and red wriggly tiny babies! ↑ |
