Cadie 1 1/2 has pooped in her little Potty twice in the last two days!!!! WOOOOOO WOOOOOO HOOOOO-GO CADIE!!!

Derek 3 could care less, and wouldn't be bothered if I NEVER changed his diaper again...he could sit in it all day and not think twice about it. Boys are gross! LOL

My son who is going to be 5 never showed any signs of being interested in the potty until last year. We approached potty training with the "whenever you are ready" approach and it seemed to work. Occassionally we would ask him if he wanted to use the potty and if he did great, if not then we just left it be. I did however eventually take away his pull-up/diaper except for at night because I found that ever time he wore them he would go in his pants. And yes he could sit in it all day if I would let him.

My daughter just turned 2 and she is actually showing some interest. Again I have decided to approach potty training the same I did with my son with her. We take her with us to the bathroom when we go and ask her if she wants to sit on her potty, 99.9% of the time she is all for it. through out the day I ask her if she wants to sit on the potty and if she does great if not then we just continue to do whatever it is we are doing.

Boys take longer to potty train. Some people are lucky and their son is potty trained by 3. Some a little longer. The average boy won't be fully potty trained (during the day only) until roughly age 5.
