Hey Rain good to see you here! McCain is presenting his losing speech.
Lola-May he has indeed taken this election and all the votes have not been tallied yet. ↑ |
| Thank god, I'm so relived! ↑ |
Zoey I think a lot of people feel the same way you do, RELIEVED!
Barack Obama has turned red states blue. As of now the numbers are 155 (R) to 333 (D) ↑ |
Well, I just think that is soooooo awesome....what an amazing historical event!!
I have to say...mccain gave a VERY VERY good speech. very graceful. good for him.
:-)
i think this has to be to quickest decision i've seen...lmao...i remember watching the gore/bush election and hubby and I were up till 2 or 3 am waiting, and fell asleep...lol... ↑ |
| The electoral votes he won by a huge margin, but the majority votes he so far is only ahead by about 5 million votes. That's not a whole lot, but there still counting both electoral and majority votes. ↑ |
| Bmes he did deliver a great speech. I don't think he appreciated all the booing the republicans were doing when he mentioned Barack's name. The people were really rude, not making McCain very proud I'm sure. ↑ |
yeah i noticed that...he was like "yeah yeah....simmer down!!" lol....
like common!!! so you first choice didn't win....get over it...suck it up and lets all come together!!
yeah...all the people booing was pretty tacky in think ↑ |
| YESSSSSSS WEEEEE CANNNNNN!!!!!!!! HEY LINDA, I AM SO GLAD HE WON!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! I AM GONNA STREEK IN MY NIEGHBORHOOD IN HIS HONOR!! AND TAKE DOWN ALL THE MCCAIN SIGNS AS I RUN PAST THEM!! ↑ |
wow! that is a HUGE win!
Hello rain and Charla........Hope you are both doing well........( not meaning to highjack this post though......lol...) ↑ |
Charla ???? Holy crap its nice to see you here as well first Rain and now you.
I think I'll join you, I'm on my way over! LOL!!!! ↑ |
| At this time the electoral votes for Obama is 338. It was a huge win with the electoral collage votes. As for the majority votes Obama now has 51% and McCain has 47%. Let me point out the election win is determined by the electoral collage votes not the majority votes, so Obama did winn by a land slide. . ↑ |
N Carolina
Indiana
Missorie
Montana
All the above are still undecided states. ↑ |
| Oh... sorry Winn, I didn't see you there you must have posted at the same same I did. That's ok, I don't mind you saying hello. I don't think your hijacking the post at all. ↑ |
| well i def am not relieved. I voted for mccain so im sure everyone understands. ↑ |
I was also pretty moved and impressed by McCain's speech.
Very classy.
I got choked up during Obama's when he was talking about his family.
I think it's amazing that we just witnessed a momentous occasion in history.
This is one for the grand kids! ↑ |
Yes I do think McCains speech was lovely, by far his best in the whole race, I do think it was Trashy for the people to BOO Obama, like bmes said, its time to stop bitching because your candidate didn't win and lets all come together as Americans!
Obama's speech was Awesome, I got a little choked up watching it! the people were so proud and for once the crowd wasn't all one color! ↑ |
Coartney,
I can understand you being unhappy about the election turn out, I'm sure there are many people who are disappointed as you are. However it is an exciting time! not only for Americans but for many other country's. I know I'm very excited to see what this new president will bring to the table for the American people. ↑ |
