I'v lived in my house for three years and finally decided to have my septic tank pumped. Its a real good thing we had the house plans because we had no idea were the septic covers were. The reason we didn't know is because they were berried under three feet of dirt, hubby spent all afternoon one day digging the dam covers up. One would think when they built my house they would have left them exposed.

lmao!!! way too funny. my ex step mom just last week was going through this same thing. or similar....she needed her septic pumped and so the guy was looking at the plans...found out where to dig, and he dug....but it wasn't there. LMAO!!!!! she lives in like a 4-plex and all the other's are visible above the ground....except hers....and they still don't know where it is!!!! hahahahahahahahahah

I know it was terrible! Finally after digging he found the openings, so there we was happy now we call the septic guy to come out and he asks if we uncovered the rite covers. Hubby says yes and asks there are only two rite? the man says no there is three and the middle one doesn't need to be uncovered. Wouldn't you know? we had the middle and one of the ends uncovered, so hubby had to go back out and start digging for the other cover.

When I first moved in this house I had so many problems with the pump that is attached to the basement bathroom. The stupid thing would just stop working and shit water would back up all over my basement apartment. It was a mess, lol mess... no pun intended! Finally after a dozen times with having it happen we found out what the problem was it was defective the cord was losing power. The company graciously replaced it but I had to replace the flooring out of my own pocket.
