| the first turkey I ever cooked I accidently cooked up side down. I am not a very experienced cook LOL Anyway it ended up being very juicy. I only like white meat and turkey can be a bit on the dry side, but this turkey was great. Needless to say this is now how I cook it on purpose and I have converted some of the people in my family as well. ↑ |

| I do it breast down, for the exact reason your siser-in-law said. The last 1/2 hour I'll flip it breast up so it will get brown & pretty, for serving. ↑ |
