i am mommy to a beautiful babygirl who is now 19 months old. A year we were told that she has an immune system disorder and that i had to stay home and take care of her. I looked everywhere for a way to earn money and yes i spent money on scams while i was doing that search. Then one day i found exactly what i was looking for and would love to share it with anyone who really wants to earn money from home. Please feel free to email me if you like kristyz_papi@msn.com

I'll ask right here. But if you don't sell anything, you don't distribute anything and you don't talk to people on the phone it sounds like a scam.

Every business has something. But it may be a service. There may be phone calls but it's not tellemarketing if someone calls you or asks you to call them to get free information.

then share it here if it is legit!

There is no way I'm going to put my info on that sign in page. If you can't atleast tell us what MLM company you work for, then I would venture to say that we don't want to here about it. Just be up front and personal. I'm sure it's legit. But tell us what we want to know here. What company, how much to sign up, what's the product and how much is the overhead each month.

I think that would be a wise idea. There have been a few on here that have openly told us their company's. Michele works for Melaleuca, somebody else worked for Latasia and I think Jeannie did vitamins. Can't remember the name of the company but it had worldwide in the title. Anyway, just tell us what you are about.

the Mela chicks are back

Jeannies is worldwide synergy. The problem with telling what you do on here is that some people will go and find opinion sites with lies about that company (and no company not even Target or Wal mart has no complaint on that site) and you probably won't find any good partners on this site anyway!! I sure didn't! This post will eventually be deleted, as they eventually get around to deleting ads, but the lies will stay for all to see, not the factual info she gives. Kristy I think you had e-mailed me for suggestions before (if you are not the same Kristy I apologize) but definately find boards where you register, then people you are chatting with are all held accountable for their words and actions (and you know you aren't advertising to teens!!). There are a lot of boards out there with very supportive forums for wahm business opps. Baby Center is where I found my best partners. There are others as well. Good Luck and if you would like to talk you can e-mail me at dmcook5@msn.com

Just thought of something Ironic!! Many on here say it must be a scam if you can't talk much about it right here right now and give all the info!! Yet there is a post for the paypal thing that is about 2 pages long and she tells quite a bit!! Yet if you go to the bbb you will see which is the scam. Same with the e-bay thing. Basically if anyone tells you to give a dollar or so and it will just "grow" with no product or service involved...beware. Personally I think I am a good enough judge of character that I feel I'd be able to tell a lot more about a person and their biz if I could actually talk to them. People can write anything!

........My case in point. So now your 2 good, deb, ......, and maybe Ivy too? who knows!! I actually don't know if kristy is mela or not, have not e-mailed her, maybe. Obviously if you are sure she is you must've contacted her and she will learn about posting in this environment.

Name: ............ | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 4:26 PM
Not a chance to email her and give her my address. I don't think I'm that stupid. I think you are all too sneeky to be trusted. If you aren't proud enough to say what you do, go somewhere else. She is a Mela chick just like you. You all sneek around trying to grab anybody into your little clicky thing.

Name: Michele | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 4:33 PM
That's right, Melaleuca. Stayin' Home And Lovin' It. Not ashamed not sneaky. Proud and confident. Owner of the company is a member of the BBB and on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce. I am an open book, nothing to hide, not even my first name 2 good. Who has credibility now?

I don't have anythng against any of you. Thanks Michele I couldn't remember what company Jeannie is with. I went to her webpage too and I agree. There wasn't anything on that home page that jumped out at me and said yes this it. This is what I'll do. In fact, it looks like every other company's landing page that wants your personal information. We should be allowed to see everything there is and make our own decisions before having someone give us a call when we aren't ready yet. Jeannie did give out her website and now I can't find it and I remember someone posted her products were too expensive. Her website must be open for all to see without signing in. That's all we are asking for. Just be open about it. The fact that Kristy says we are not scammers doesn't do much for me. You said it Michele, people can write anything. Even websites will attrack the desperate young women on this site who don't have enough experience to weed through it. You promise them an income, you promise them good health and a happy family. I think we should all colaborate and make a list of home based businesses for all to see right here. We'll just keep the list going as we hear about more company's. That way no one is advertising. But it should be straight up info. No hiding behind the pull in websites that tell you nothing except work on your emotions. That's why people don't stay to long in your type of companys. They get in because of emotional promises.

I agree Karen that 's a great idea! Many larger (and better)boards like the yahoo groups have directories, what people do, their website homepage, e-mail, and some have a little description like "health and wellness", Or "stuffed animals" I do Stuff A Friend too. I actually got frustrated with the complaint that I agreed with that it didn't give much info (the website given to us) so I wanted one I made myself that I could tell a little more. I also joined some free biz opps (stuff a friend, daisies jewels, bewitching beauties and whole foods) to bring in not residual income as mela does, but some extra advertising $ now and then (I know I have enough stuffed animals). Recently joined a chocolate site too I'll be adding hopefully this week. Anyway I also wanted a way to advertise all together as it would take me forever to do each separately on boards!! Take a look and tell me what you think. http://www.freewebs.com/homemommichele/index.htm

Go ahead and write all your stuff because soemone will come along and tell you like it is Mela chick! Go advertise some wehre else

Name: Michele | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 5:08 PM
I do advertise elsewhere. If you could read dear you see I was advising Kristy to do just that! Unfortunately in this forum there is such hatred and meanness.....I saw even a game someone started that ended up in an argument!! For goodness sake!!

Name: kristy | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 7:52 PM
i am part of stayin home and lovin it we handle the referral marketing for a wellness company .. you never contact people who haven't asked to be contacted ... you are compensated by the wellness company ... there is a high income potential just takes a little while to get it this is not a get rich quick scheme .. this is a chance to start your own business and be alongside a fortune 500 company .. now you dont have to enter your info for a tour .. if you have any other questions i'll be happy to answer them

Name: Kristy | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 7:54 PM
And I DO NOT work for an MLM company .

Name: Michele | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 8:10 PM
Wow Kristy we are on the same team!! I couldn't tell from your website!! Where did you get your website? It is very cute!! Honestly though they deleted all my posts and a woman here posted all kinds of lies about the company that I asked them to delete too if I couldn't provide the positive info as well. Unfortunately you walked into a hornets nest. This was one of the first forums I found...good thing I'm a stubborn one because there are many more supportive forums. E-mail me and I'll be glad to send you a list! Take care hon and be careful out there!!

Okay Miss, Mrs or Mr ........ , 2 good or whoever you are today. Where is your documentation on MLM if you know this is wrong. Please show your documentation. As you can see this "sneaky person" has no trouble posting what documentation I have. And please don't tell me ripoff report is documentation, it is an editorial. BTW as for being sneaky what do you call going around as ......? If you are the same as 2good, deb and whatever other names I think you really need to quit worrying about what I do for a living and get thee to a shrink!! Wayyyyy to many personalities in one body there hon!

And I DO NOT work for an MLM company

I understand the whole concept. You are self employed because this is your own business. So you do not work for the company. I understand that. But, I'm still do some research but so far everything I've seen shows that Melalueca is a MLM. They are listed on several sites as a top company but you still are earning money from various levels. In other words, a multi level company. I'll continue to let you know what I find.

The more you argue with these people the more they get advertising out. Just let it go. I did. Trust me - its so not worth it.

I found your company listed on every mlm list available online. Here is just one. What I did find out is this. By renaming your group StayinHomeandLovinit puts you in another catagory but you are still involved in a mlm. Your group has temporarily found a way to get around it. As proven here, women are becoming more savey to the tricks of the trade. I'm not opposed to mlm at all. I just wanted to know who you were and what you were about without all the hassle. For me the StaynatHomeand Lovnit (or whatever) is beginning to get a bad rap and you'll have to find another means to work your business. Just be upfront. If people see it, they'll go for it. If they don't, it's not time. I also found that all mlm's are consumer direct marketing. That's just another term. I find some of the things listed by Michele not quite convincing. I'm still looking.

Name: Michele | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 10:10 PM
Karen this is commenly referred to as Network Marketing, and there is a big difference between that and mlm. Mlm in it's purest form is like Liberty league. That cost $1,500 to get into and you get "self improvement tapes". The "enroller" then sends $500 to the company and keeps the $1,000 and off to find another sucker. They really don't give a fig if the people sign up succeed or not, why should they, they got all the money they are going to get!! Networking means building relationships, helping the people you partner with to succeed or you get no where. That is why it is ridiculous to say that I want to scam poor people, they do me no good! They cannot afford their monthly shopping and need to quit before even getting any customers to help pay for their order. I care about my people, partner with them and am one of the best at not making them feel like they need to spend fortunes on worthless opp seeker leads. After all which is just paying to have someone advertise for you. I would rather deal with the difficulties like this, just lumps you have to take.

Name: Michele | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 10:12 PM
No Karen on forums where I am able to actually talk to people and get to know them, I've found great parters. If we tell what we do on a forum we just get slander.

Name: Karen H. | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 10:21 PM
mlm and network marketing are the same thing. MLM got a bad name and went to network marketing. A referral type business. In your company, you still get paid on the people you either sign up or the dollar amount that accrues under you. Isn't that correct? If you didn't get paid on all those dollars why would you continue? That's the residual part, right? So it is based on so called levels. MLM or whatever you want to call it.
