| My husband is a tax account....needless to say we crunch numbers non-stop. It was a blow to lose my income. But we DO IT. You just need to seriously set up a budget and follow it. Do a spreadsheet and determine what you spend and how to spend it. Try things like using your credit card to pay off bills (the ones that give you cash back) and if you PAY IT OFF each month like you should....you get cash back.
