Hello , in my country wedding are not child friendly from my point of view , they start late at night , the actual wedding start at 9 pm , and maybe later , also there is very very hard music , some adults cannot even bear it , i have a 21 months old girl , she sleeps at 7 30 or maximum 8 pm , she should sleep 13 hours she usually sleeps 11 or 10 at night then the rest at a nap , i cannot try to let her sleep at night later because she is a little high need in sleeping , she woke up the same early time every morning whatever i do , she is a very light sleeper so i always struggle to allow her get the 13 hours rest for healthy growth and to avoid crankiness , so i cannot attend weddings and i don think letting her hear this crazy music would be a fun thing , my mother in law is found of attending weddings , she always pushes me to attend them , and i cannot leave my daughter with anyone yet for many reasons specially at night !!! my MIL wants to make me feel that am an abnormal mum with an abnormal child !! she keeps telling me that children and even babies attend those weddings !! but i feel that i am totally right and confident about that , but i worry if my daughter is a little bit older say 3 yrs old my MIL will put me and her under pressure to attend those late weddings and u know children like to do as there peers i may go in to long power struggles because of this !! i want my daughter when she is older to feel that she is not strange than others !! at the same time i cannot imagine that EVEN a 3 or 5 yrs old can attend those crazy weddings , !!! they are designed for big kids and teens and adults not for toddlers and preschoolers !! plz tell me am i overacting or a strange person ??!!! thanks ↓
