Hey all I'm new to this forum and new to the mommy scene. i just found out i'm about a month pregnant and have always thought that I would be a stay at home mom when the time came. Only problem is the money issue. So i was wondering if any of you stay at home veterans had any tips for what jobs work the best for stay at home moms and any other tps concerning the issue would be great :-)

There are no legit Stay at Home Jobs!! I even called an employment agency to try to find one, as I had to stay home for my dh's health. There are biz opps that I do and some are absolutely free to do. You can look at

Check everything out with the BBB before you sign on for Anything. I did as I tried to "stuff envelopes" and got really burned, that does not exist, machines do it now.

No, the get rich quick ones do not. But there are legit business opportunities out there where you can earn money with time and effort. If any one tells you you can earn lots of money overnight and not do a thing, they are lying. I am doing online business from home, but it certainly does not grow overnight and with no effort.

Hi mommy2b!

I use an amazing online program called ConsumerCandy.com. It’s free to join, and you get paid $5 just for joining. You also get paid $5 per referral. You can research them online like I did, they have great legit reviews. I can also personally say I have receieved several checks. The minimum payout is $25 and you can receive your $ via PayPal or check.

They pay you cash for purchasing products & services and offer huge exclusive discounts off everything. They also pay you to complete offers that are free to you, such as surveys, free trials, and free contests. They have over 1000 offers, it’s an online shopping world!

Here's their link: http://www.consumercandy.com/

Hello Mommy:

Well, I just had twins in April and my poor husband is working two jobs to support us. But, in August I am going to deliver newspapers at night so my husband can help with the babies. It is only 2-3 hours every night but it is worth it not to have my children in daycare. I used to be a director of a daycare, and any mom really should be awhere of all the diseases and germs babies can get into there. But some moms it is for them and that is ok. But for me I can work a couple of hours every night and still be home with my babies.

Thanks,
Melissa

In-Home Daycare is really big right now and a lot of moms are looking for quality childcare in a smaller group setting. Here is a book that is thirteen dollars and will show you, step-by-step how to begin your own in-home daycare.
At least check out the website. To be able to stay home with your kids is work the few dollars! Godspeed with your daycare!

I have a fabulous stay-at-home job which I just started with 3 months ago. I'm already making $500.00 a month, working about 10-15 hours per week (and I plan to be making many times that a year from now). Here is how I stumbled upon it: My cousin suggested I try out some cleaning products from a company called Melaleuca, because they are super safe for kids (my husband and I are very interested in having a safe, nontoxic home). So, I enrolled as a customer and we FELL IN LOVE with their products..so much so that I started sharing my love of the products with friends and family. I referred them to become customers and I will continue to get paid a percentage of their purchases FOREVER! My cousin is making great, great money doing this, and I am excited to follow in her footsteps. Anyone can do this...all you do is get someone enrolled with a VERY SIMPLE form, and that's it! They place their own orders, and they're shipped right to your door! The only things you ever buy are the products you use yourself. I would never refer others if I didn't really believe in it. It's super easy to learn more about it...no cost, no personal info., just 35-40 minutes of your time to watch a live webcast, which are available each evening and weekend. Email me ([email protected]) if you're interested in learning more...no committment, whatsoever. Just a great, no-risk way to learn about it!

Hi mommy2b

I am a stay at home mom of three and I also work from home. What I do won't make you rich, but it is a legitimate way to earn extra cash. If you're interested then take a look at my blog at http://dollarsbydawn.blogspot.com.

Well I can say there is no get rich quick program! That is true, but I work from home and make very good residual income. I quit my teaching position to stay home with my son, and do not have to worry about the money issue. I would love to share what I do with you. Please look at my website and contact me if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity! http://amber.brightwomen.com/
Good Luck!

I'm an Independent Consultant for Norwex Enviro Products. They have a wonderful compensation plan and a flat rate shipping fee throughout North America. I've only been with them for 1 month and have already made a significant income.
Norwex is celebrating it's 10th year in business so it is relatively new yet. The concept of being friendly to our environment is NOT a new concept. We all know what we're doing to our planet, and most of us want to do something about it. So why not start somewhere easy, like how we clean our homes or what we use for body products?
You can check out my personal website at www.NorwexHealthyGreenLiving.com or email me at [email protected] for more information and for the sign up sheets.
