Jennifer, You should not have anything to worry about. If your still worried be sure to talk to your doctor about your questions. The chances of one radar gun on normal work shifts having a negative effect arte very small.

I have to use a radar and laser as I am a police officer. I spoke with a doctor and found out that neither have any negative affects on you or the baby, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I would check to see who the manufacturer is for the gun. Each one has a different RF (Radio Frequency) output. Then check with your doctor as far as an occupational health concern for the output. If he doesn't know try to find a local ageny that provides those services to give you an answer or check out the OSHA (Occupational safety and health administration) website http://www.osha.gov/SLTC/radiof
requencyradiation/exposure.html
.
Over all the output should be low and in addition since you are pointing it away from you you should be alright but I would still check.
