I worked right until the day I delivered. Unless it is medically necessary to take leave, there really is no reason not to work. I wanted to save all of my paid time off for when the baby was actually here. I ended up taking 11 weeks after my Conner was born. If you live in the states, FMLA allows 12 weeks. ↑ |
Well I'm due in three weeks and started my leave a week ago. Your doc has nothing to do with your leave unless he puts you on bed rest for a reason. I left because I stand all day but 30min. and my legs and feet were triple their size everyday when I got home. Check with your employer on whether or not you can take an early leave or if you need a medical reason to. ↑ |
