Hello...I live in Indiana and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with food stamps. How do you qualify. We have 4 children one is 3 months old...does she qualify or at this point does she not even count?? What are the "guidelines" to being able to qualify?? Just curious! Thanks

It depends on the households income. The less you make, the more foodstamps you will get.

If a family of 3 gets foodstamps and the only income is $603 per month from ssi for one parent, then the foodstamp benefit amount is $360 for the month.
