How about if you talk to your current employer about cutting your hours back at work so you can spend time w/ your kiddo. That's what I did and we agreed to a schedule of 7AM to 2PM, so I'm still full time w/ benefits but I get so much more time w/ my kids. Career moves involve benefits, vacation days/sick days - starting all over. We all get burned out at our jobs some point in time, I think this is nature. I have to ask, I know staying at home with your child sounds great but could you solely rely on the main income from your partner? ↑ |
