I've started thinking about the nursery:
We've already started decorating the nursery! It's going to be a Disney theme. Grandma Chris bought the Disney crib bedding for Christmas, and my friend Gayle from work is going to have her artist friend paint a Disney mural on the wall. We've bought organizers and already began fixing up the closet, including hanging all the cute little clothes he's received so far. We also bought a glider and ottoman for nursing, rocking, and reading stories.

I've been dreaming about you:
I daydream about my Anthony all of the time! I love to think about holding him and rocking him to sleep. I also like to imagine him sleeping on Adam's chest.

I used to love food! Now I avoid:
Steak and fish, which used to be two of my favorite foods. Red meat makes me queasy, and I just can't stand the smell of fish. I really hope this passes after the pregnancy is over!

I never thought pregnancy would make me:
So emotional! I'm still crying over everything these days, from t.v. shows to spilt milk. I really hope this passes too!

I can't wait to:
Bring our baby home and show him around the house, and introduce him to his feline sister Biscotti.

My prenatal visit this month taught me:
Not to be so crazy about how often I feel him moving around. The nurse assured me that it's perfectly normal not to feel him move for a few hours at a time, and if that happens, drinking a sweet beverage should do the trick. I was starting to obsess about his movements but now I know just to relax and enjoy it as it occurs.

My hopes:
That he'll be born happy and healthy and right on time!

|

My fears:
I've started worrying about preterm labor and the possibility of him being born premature.
