Only 3 weeks left Well, this pregnancy has flown by. It's hard to believe that I am only 3 weeks away from my due date. My husband and I are so excited to meet this little one. Last Wednesday I met with my midwife and her midwife partner who comes for the delivery of the home birth. It was very encouraging to meet with them at my house. I'm really looking forward to the experience of a home birth. I'm hoping it will be more relaxing than at the hospital and overall a better experience.
From my prenatal last Wednesday: The baby's heart beat was in the 130s-140s. We do not know the sex of the baby, but my husband definitely thinks it's a boy this time. I'm measuring right on the weeks and feeling good. I've gained 25lbs. so far with this one and feel very big. It is exciting to think about how Lilly will adjust to a baby in the house. I've been told by friends that the first two weeks are the most difficult with everyone adjusting to a new baby. Hopefully it will all go well. Keep me in your prayers as my due date arrives if you think of me. Thank you!

The Count Down As the month of February has arrived, I have been enjoying my time home with Lilly. We keep ourselves active by going to the Library for Story Time weekly. She loves to go and get new books & movies each week. Lilly also enjoys being around other little kids her age. It so good for her. This weekend we have weather that is in the 40s...yeah!!!! I don't know if it will stay, but it's a lot nicer to get out and about when the temps are warming.
The baby's room is all ready for baby. I washed all my newborn clothes and they are hanging in the baby's closet. I've been gathering items for the home birth now. I pretty much have everything together. I have one more prenatal visit at my midwife's house next week. Then starting 36 weeks she will be coming to my home. :) I'm happy knowing I don't have to travel anywhere as the baby's due date draws closer.
Charles, Lilly & I are enjoying our time together as three before the fourth member of our family arrives. I haven't had any complications with this pregnancy so far. Just lots of baby movement. I tend to wake up at least 3 to 4 times during the night to use the bathroom. I know my body is preparing for this little one who will be awake at nights.
Friends and family that read this...you can help by praying for me and the baby as the due date, March 22nd, comes closer. Please pray for a safe and healthy delivery. Pray also for Lilly's adjustment to a new baby in the house. I think she will be a great big sister, but I hope she will not feel neglected or left out.
