Feeling Better
My back hasn't been hurting as bad anymore although sometimes it still does.  But not constantly.  I keep getting comments on how small I am, and usually their eyes fall out of their head when they hear it's my fifth.  It's always funny to watch people's reaction.  Then I sometimes get people asking my age.  I'm 28.  In 3 months I will have been married for 9 years.  Next year a decade!  Whee!  What a weird thought.  So many people are waiting to have children till their 30's, at least some of my friends, so I guess I am considered really young for having 5 kids.  Sometimes I have been really out of breath and it's hard to do stuff, sometimes simple tasks.  I don't complain much so I think people take advantage of that sometimes and expect a lot from me.  My husband said I always act so strong and never complain so he forgets to help out more when I'm this far a long.  I'm not a complainer (I can't stand that) because I believe that we put ourselves in these positions so why complain about it?  That goes for things in life that are in our control such as who we marry, or how many kids I have, where we work, what friends we choose.  It's different when things are out of our hands.  Sometimes when I get tired of being pregnant or grouchy, I remind myself that I chose to be in this position and so I need to have a good attitude.  Then it gets me out of a funk.  Last night my back was hurting and I wasn't feeling good at all but Charles didn't know why I was so quiet at our friend's house.  He told me later I need to complain more!  LOL!  I do complain, I tell him, I just complain on my journal quietly!  :o)

Shot for back pain
When I went in to the doctor, I told her how bad my back pain really was.  It's so bad that it's easier to just stand all day rather than sit or lay down.  She offered to give me a shot in the hip but it would only last for 12 hours.  It was great not having any pain that night but I wish it could've lasted longer!  Well, the other night Charles and I were in Baby's R Us and we found an even better maternity belt that supports more of the back.  I now wear it all day and it does make a difference.  I still get back pain but nothing like before where it was excruciating.  The pills the doctor gave me knock me out for a day and a half and I can't use them because I have to be able to take care of my kids during the day and get them up by 6am.  Baby is almost here so I can hold out.  In the meantime, I'm gonna go get my heating pad for my back!

Horrible Back Pains
For the last few weeks my back has gone from sore to unbearable.  I can't sleep much, or sit down, and the only thing that works is to stay standing or walk around.  The ob gave me muscle relaxants but that doesn't totally take the pain away.  It does make me incredibly tired so I can sleep through the pain.  This happened with my previous pregnancy but on a much smaller scale.  It ended up turning into back labor and the only relief was an epidural.  Sitting on the hospital bed was torture for that many hours.  This pregnancy it is much, much worse.  I love going to church but it is hard to sit there and I end up having to walk around.  I know this has to do with the baby and as soon as I have her, pain will instantly be gone.  That happened last time.  How will I make it 6 more weeks?  I am sitting here with a heating pad on my back to keep the pain at bay.  Will this get worse with each pregnancy?  I hope not.

Maternity Belt!
My back pain has been so unbearable that my ob told me to go buy a maternity belt.  I did and it seems to have eased the pain some.  The weird thing is it hurts in the same spot everyday and it always starts to hurt from 3:30pm until bedtime.  Then I'm good when I wake up again.  It's so precise that I always know when it's 3:30pm just because my back pain with start.  I go check  the clock and sure enough, that's what time it is.  It is worse when I sit down verses walking around.  Oh, the pain is bad.  The belt does seem to help some because the ob said that my tummy is making my back bow so it helps straighten the spine by pulling the belly up some.
