Hello everyone I had my daughter 4 months ago and i've noticed recent changes in her usuly consistent behavoir. She has sudden outbursts ov excitement and I can't do anything to calm her down and she will stay hyped up for about 15 minutes. She is normally a active baby but she has definately changed over the last 2 weeks. Would the fact of me being 15 make her behavoir change ? And before knew I was pregnant I made the mistake of taking Ecstacy, would this make her more prone to maby having ADHD ? If someone could help me on this matter it would be very much appreceated, thanks Avvi x x

you little girl sounds fairly normal to me. i had my son at 17, when he was a toddler he would bang his head against the wall really hard. i was certain he was slow or something. turns out he's just fine despite the headbanging. your baby is discovering the world around her, she is learning what her body can do. this is an exciting time for her, plus she is constantly changing at this young age. about the extacy you should proably ask a pediatrician. hope i was helpful.

Hi Mummy2Kacey15,

I agree with shakelfore that your baby is perfectly normal. I have two kids of my own and they go through changes so fast it does make you wonder if they are ok sometimes. Do you have a good support system? I commend you for raising your baby at 15, my sister had hers at 17 and I lived with her so I know how hard it can be. Keep your family and friends close and accept the help they offer and ask for help when you need it. You need to be at your best for both of you. We all need help. I agree that you should be completely honest with your doctor so they can keep an eye on her developement. It is more important for them to be informed and proactive than to avoid it because you're ashamed of what you did when you didn't know you were pregnant. I would be orse to find out later there was something they could have done if they'd known. Take care

So was your ecstasy use often and lots??? That would be a good thing to ask your doc. My son's birthmom took drugs and that's how he acts...huge excitement but it's not 15 minutes...now that he's walking it's much longer periods of time and very difficult to handle...

I am guessing this is your first baby. It is perfectly normal for a four month to be active like that. They are dicovering their new world and that is exciting. I have a son with ADHD and there was no signs of it till he was in school we were he was hyper. Don't worry hunny every parent feels guilty at some point for some thing that is what makes us good mothers. Rest assured that your baby is fine, and I am sure she will grow up fine and healthy. Hope that helps. NO MORE DRUGS! YOU ARE A MOMMY NOW AND HAVE SOME ONE WHO NEEDS YOU!
