He's constantly in trouble at school and with the law over the past 3 years! He's been this way since he could talk. He's been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD(at the age of 8yrs), mild Tourettes, and ODC(at the age of 11yrs).....we've tried meds....ALL KINDS! Nothing seems to help! He's on an IEP at school and is in an adaptive behavior class, he no longer attends regular classes because he is too big of a distraction. He's habitually lying, making "farting" noises(or farting, which ever he can do first), yelling out just to yell, arguing with the teacher, tries to get other kids to follow in his bad behavior and then when he gets in trouble for things that he's done, he doesn't take responsibility for it. He blames others for his bad behavior, including myself and hubby and his Dad and Dad's wife. If there is anyone out there who can relate to me or has any suggestions on what we can do different, PLEASE let me know! He's currently being charged with assault 4 because he was screwing around at school and boxed a kid's ears! The kid's parents were called and the Mother decided to press charges so they arrested him at school.....he doesn't even seem to care, just keeps being disrespectful to us and the teachers.....and anyone else around him for that matter. He's been in counceling seems like his whole life! WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING! HELP!

I am so with you! How old is your son now? This seems to be very typical of an ADD/ADHD diagnosis. All I can offer you as advice is to stick with it! Stand your ground and realize that you have and are doing everything that you know how to possibly do. You just have to keep being consistent and try to stay calm. Believe me when I say I know how tiring this can be. Good luck!

Same advice really stick with it. My 14yr old son is similar he went through a time of constantly being in trouble with the law. He is currently doing a 12mth youth offenders order. My son has been excluded from school numerous times due to his lack of control as the teachers put it. He has calmed down a bit and has been clear of the law for 5mths. His main problem seems to be school he hardly goes as he feels they don't understand him or try to. I am now a single parent and I think this has helped as he now has all my attention. Just keep telling yourself things can only get better. Good luck.
