I attended a fetal alcohol seminar today. My daughter definitely has, we won't know until my son is in school. But I learned about all the attached disorders...adhd, ocd, odd...more d's than I care to think of. Today it's just a lot of work.

Hi Jamberrt, I'm sorry to hear that your daughter has this, it definetly will be more difficult for her in life, but she has a wonderful mother who loves her very much, and that's the most important thing! I think it's so great that you are finding out all you can about these things so you can "diagnose" her and ultimately "treat" her, finding ways for her to cope. Hugs to you. If you want to email, I should be home most of today. Take care!

Thanks...I finally got a reply today from CFS and they may be willing to pay for respite. Considering they told me alcohol wasn't an issue when we adopted and I asked at least 4 times! Respite will be a plus - 5 hours every two weeks. My new date night! Love just isn't enough some days...
