i have a 9 year old that is adhd and recently started on ritalin he says he doesn't want it anymore because it changes him what do i tell him. he thinks hes on special vitamins ↓

what is the name of the ritalin, My daughter was on medate, concerta and now the daytrana patch. Some effect them differently, have you tried Strattera, I was told that was a non stimulant. ↑

They started my son out on Ritalin--horrible medicine! His mood swings were just awful, he didn't feel good and we all suffered.
Ask for another medicine. We switched to Concerta and it made a huge difference. It gradually wore off not like Ritalin. He was a much happier boy. ↑
