No my grandson was started on EFA's Essential Fatty Acids. This has Omega 3,6,9. 3000 mg day. He's been on it for over a year. Doing great now. It takes times for this to kick in. Not an instant fix for sure but well worth it. No side effects.

Hope you are giving your child EFA's (Essential Fatty Acids) and not just Omega 3's. Grandson has been on this over a year - 3000 mg/day. Took a while for it to work. He's doing so good now. Daughter would not do without it. The amino chains take a while to link in brain from the EFA's. This is not an overnight fix - it requires patience. Fortunately, with him it worked. Good thing research is being done on this with pregnant women.

I just want to add that when dealing with the EFA's/Omega that do your research and make sure you get a good quality. Lot's of junk out there for sale.

It does take awhile for fish oils, There has been some very positive stuff going if you do a search. Also watching sugars can help a lot.
