My eight year old son is doing so well. We love strattera. It really has freed him to be his best. I am concerned about his self esteem. He talks about what a terrible person he is because he is frequently in trouble. He talks about punishing himself before I can even talk about the misbehavior. Anyone have any ideas about this? His successes don't seem to fill that place in him.

Tell him as often as possible, what you like, good job, and I am happy when you....... You are a great kid. This will help a great deal. Two possitives for every negative, Then you will see more possitives than you can handle.
