Hi everyone,

Well my little one has gotten her first stomach virus. I'm real good with common medicines, but I'm not so great at homeopathic/all natural treatments.

Does anyone have any good ways to treat diarrhea... other than a cork, LOL. I am currently trying rice water... any other remedies that have worked for you.

Thanks ?

I am a trained nurse. One of my grandmother's remedy for stomach virus was "first" to flush the virus out of your little one system. The longer it stays the sicker she will get. Once you have flushed it out, give her a mixture of 1 tsp of Flour, 3oz of Water and 1 tsp sugar that will slow the diarrhea and the sugar will give her body carbohydrate to strenghten her. That is what I gave to my children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, husband, etc. I works almost immediately. If it does not depending on the lenght of time she has suffered, take to hosp ER.
