Hello there, for many years i have known that i want to be a daddy. And maybe this sounds strange but i dont feel the need to have my own kids, but to adopt one. It would make my day to have a daughter, if i adopted one, 18 or so, to raise as my daughter. I would love to take her fishing, out for ice cream and just enjoy having a daughter who looks up to me, and me setting a good example for her of what a man is and do my best to show her the way men should be.

I dont know why nurturing is considered to be something only for women/mom to do. Its just as important for a dad to give hugs and kisses, to hold the kids when they cry and to celebrate in their victories.

I wish that things had worked out, and i had a wonderful wife by now, but all good things come to an end. So am i crazy for thinking about adopting a daughter when i have no motherly influence for her to see?
