My daughter is 5 1/2 and gets sick easily. She seems to have a weak immune system. We finally have her in preschool, but she can't stay well enough to attend consistently. I have a friend who says her son has remained healthier than the others in the family and she feels he could have an overactive immune system. Does anyone else have this problem? Has anything helped?

Hey, Hey........hello again hope3650. My son use to get sick quite a bit as well but since we have been giving him good bacteria cultures just a runny nose here and there in the winter. He is still drinking milk, so he is on Natrel Pro. It has the probiotics she will require to fight off infections etc.

Hello hope3650 I had this problem with my son from age 2 till now age 8 he has autism spectrum disorder he began to get croup for several months out of the year as he got a little older it was then called viral and still is my biggest problem has been school as they do not seem to understand that when my son gets sick it takes some time for him to get back on his feet due to an eating disorder and his physical body not being where it should be if your child goes to school make sure his doctors note says that your child may return to school when tolerated there are many things you have to conquer when you have a child with different disorders your safe with preschool and kindergarden they are not mandatory 1ST grade is a different story collect all the knowledge you can now.

Hi hope3650, I agree with Ontario_Father, you definitely need a good probiotic. We have also added other immune support in the form of glyconutritionals. We found with our boys that they were always fighting something whether it was the croup or ear infections. Now if they do get sick it is usually short lived. Developmentally they are doing much better as well.

Cod liver oil really helps.... not only the autistic brain but it also will boost any person's immune system. The healing is gradual. My son, has been healing gradually from ASD with CLO and other supps. There;s more Dr. Megson info on the web. Also check out Dr. Yasko at www.holistichealth.com. Love, Jack's Mom
