Have any other parents had dental problems with their autistic children? My son is autistic and 4yrs. old. He brushes his teeth every morning and every night. Not to mention he is on a restricted diet so he rarely eats sugary foods. He drinks water all day long and never drinks soda and only has juice a few times a week (and even then it's watered down) I was concerned about some spots on his teeth and took him to the dentist who said he had 9 cavities!!! I am so concerned about his teeth now. He has to be put under to have them fixed and I worry that maybe I did something wrong. Anybody else have these issues? ↓
