Hey,

Did anyone try GFCF diet or GAPS diet to help you kid?

My son, diagnosed as on ASD, doesn't have any stool related problems. His stool is clear, though a little on the harder side. He doesnt speak nor is potty trained so we dont know if he is getting difficulties in passing it out.

How did you figure out whether or not you should go for any of these diets? Any test or type of doctor that you would recommend?

I got my son's blood test done and found that all the minerals and chemical compositions are just on the border side of being below normal or above normal range - not even close to normal "average" - his Vitamin D was really low for a toddler. But our peds said that as far as everything is in the "normal" range - he wouldn't have concern. But (as a science graduate) I can sense that something is not right here - thats why every composition is so deviated from being "average" normal. I am still trying to solve whether it is a gut problem or digestion problem or whatever it is. But I don't know which path to go to find the problem before seeking the right solution for the problem....

Thanks.
Gaurav
