Hi: My grandaughter is two next month. She isn`t talking yet, is this something we should be concerned about? If anyone can give me things to watch for I`d really appreciate it. I admire you all for the wonderful job you are doing with your children. Thank you for any info you can give me.

Thanks
Joanne

Hi Joanne,
My daughter had a feeling something was wrong when he came up to 2 yrs. So she took him to Doc. My grandson was sayiing a few words then about 2 he had no interest in talking. She had him tested because of her gut feeling & he was diagnosed with mild Autism which mainly affected his speech. Your grandaughter may just be having every do things for her. He may be nothing. Hope all goes well. Nana Fran

Hi, Joanne,

The fact that your granddaughter isn't talking may mean nothing at all. In my opinion is does bear watching.

My grandson is five and has autism. Every autistic child is different, but if you go to the.Autism of Society of America's website they have the information you are looking for.
