I homeschooled my Grandson who is high functioning last year and will continue as long as I am able. So far, it is the best thing I could have ever done. email me at [email protected] if you want to talk more.

I home schooled my autistic daughter. She is now 21 and in a college getting a biochemistry degree. I am convinced that if I didn't home school her she would not be doing as well. Besides the academics she needed a lot of teaching on social skills, life skills which the school didn't offer. With her being home I was able over the years to help her adjust to society. Children can learn to read and write anytime. She needed the full time attention of a loving mother to help her.
