i see your post has been here awhile. yes it is as normal as autism. i am a teacher assistant. all of our 6 kids laugh out at inappropriate times one time or another. my 1 kid i tend to laughs while he is hitting me. i know he doesnt know what he is doing but he is just giggling.

My child will often laugh when he sees other kids get hurt. He will also start laughing and screaming when his little brother is crying.

yes child was the same but is has gotten better with time!!!

YES! YES! YES! I think my little one is crazy at times. It's like he's in his own world with his own goings on and what may amuse him in that world I do not know. I speculate when they do not understand our world, they must find solace in their own.
