It doesn't hurt to 'dry up' as you put it. If you decide not to breastfeed after the birth then your breasts will feel a bit sore and tender - this is easily managed with basic analgesia. If you've been breastfeeding and decide to stop then the above applies also. Just take analgesia and wear a decent fitting bra. Within a few days the pain will have gone and your breasts will feel okay. It is not particularly painful - just a bit uncomfortable. ↑ |
