I was just curious in knowing a little bit on breastfeeding. I heard that it hurts to "Dry up" and I also was interested in knowing how long does this process take. Thanks!

It doesn't hurt to 'dry up' as you put it. If you decide not to breastfeed after the birth then your breasts will feel a bit sore and tender - this is easily managed with basic analgesia.

If you've been breastfeeding and decide to stop then the above applies also. Just take analgesia and wear a decent fitting bra. Within a few days the pain will have gone and your breasts will feel okay. It is not particularly painful - just a bit uncomfortable.
