sure just pump after you feed her.
that sounds to easy!! pumping is a lot of work, time and more energy ... i hated doing it. but that is what i was told to do.
But what i did was put my baby on the boob more, not just when she is asking for it. but they also know when it is time to do so. its really hard to know if they are getting enough. i guess you have to trust there primal instinks. lolo

It's never too late to increase your supply. I've known mothers who at first decided not to breastfeed, then later changed their mind after their milk dried up, and were still able to get milk produced after pumping. They then went on to nurse their babies for many months.

It's all about supply and demand. The more your baby nurses, the more milk you will produce. Like 'mom of Kendra' stated, you may want to pump in addition to nursing more. Pump right after your baby has nursed and that should help increase your supply.

The herb Fenugreek increases milk supply - there are also prescription drugs which can increase supply - you'll need to ask your doctor.

I know you can buy a tea type thing at the health store to increase milk supply.

There is also an over the counter herbal supplement called More Milk Plus. My lactation consultant recommended it to me. My milk supply was very slow to come in and this helped.

Lots of water and pump... At first I wasn't getting in enough so I pumped one breast 2 hours after my daughter had aten off that boob... then I would pump the other breast two hours after she had aten off that breast... freezing the excess. I only had to do this for 2 days and my milk was more then enough to supply my daughter with all that she wanted. Good luck...

Hi...I heard that if you drink a cup of coffee it will help more milk come down. Not sure if that works, but I have been told that many, many times. Also, make sure you drink LOTS of water and stay very hydrated. Also, if you eat lots of fruit, it helps alot. Hope this helps :-)

Thanks so much for putting up this thread. I have been breastfeeding since my baby was born three weeks ago and all of a sudden I seem to have dried up - but then again, so have I - with the intake of water I mean, thanks for the tips!
