tell her off say NO they usually stop or blow in her face they hate it ↑ |
well first of all it is impossible for them to bite when they are actually sucking. pay attention to when she stops so you can unlatch her before she gets a chance to bite. sometimes it is hard to catch them in time. if she does bite take her off the boob and tell her in a firm voice "no bite" or somthing like that and then sit her down. i used to just put my son on the floor for a few min. if he wanted to nused again in a few min. i let him. i only had to do this a few times before he realized that if he bites then he doesn't get the boob. he is now 16 months old and he hasn't bit be since about 7 months old.
hope this helps and don't give up. also if your nipples are really sore from this try using some lanolin. it works wonders. they sell a kind thtat you don't have to wash off before nursing. ↑ |
Thanks Melissa I will have to tell her, and try it out! ↑ |
some people seem to think that babies can't learn things like that this young, but they understand alot more than we ususally give them credit for. especially if it involes them not getting what they want. ↑ |
well push the little one into your breast and say no that hurts. after the baby bites a few time take the breast away and don't let it nurse. it worked for my baby girl she bite for about two days ↑ |
