Hey everyone. I have been trying to breastfeed for the longest time and it has been so frustrating. To top it all off, my nipples are really sore and I am so tired! However, I found lots of great health advice from a fabulous website - check it out: www.womens-health.co.uk

Ok, I have a question and this is a different topic. I had a tubal ligation just about 2 years ago and about a week ago I squeezed my nipples ( don't ask why, cuz I don't know why ) and white clear stuff came from both. Ne-way I was thinking today that I had my period like normal on the 1'st or second of December and I had one for like 2 days very late at the end of December on the 29th. This isn't normal for me. Today is February 6th and I haven't had my period since then. Is this normal.... I mean I should take a pregnancy test just in case, but am scare. Going thru a divorce and have been with someone for two months, but of course with my luck I probly would be that 1 %. Does anyone have any insight?

Aniesha - Take a pregnancy test. If it is positive, there is a strong chance of it being an etopic pregnancy (tubal). Most pregnancies after having tubes tied end up being etopic. If you get a positive, make an appointment with your OB right away. If you experience extreme pain, seek medical attention right away. I don't say this to scare you, only for you to be aware. There could be a possibilty that you are just having abnormal periods because you are under a lot of stress. Divorce = TONS of STRESS! Good luck, and let us know how you are doing!

Hey, not sure if this will help or not, but I have had 2 children before being pregnant with this one. I had my last child 7 yrs ago and have since had breast implants, but as soon as I got pregnant this time, I started leaking clear, yellowish and white fluid, which I believe is lactating, so honestly, I believe it just has to do with the individual. Good luck. I hope you find your answers, but if she says it's yours, atleast give her the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

I never lactated ..or maybe I never noticed this with my other 2 pregnancies but I am now just 27 weeks pregnant and I see SOME colostrum..not milk but this clear whitish leaking AT TIMES..usually after or during sex (nipple stimulation) if I can be so open here. I've had 2 girls, then 2 miscarriages over last 2 years and now this is my 5 th pregnancy, 3rd child. If you're worried about paternity, the ONLY way is through DNA testing- good luck. :)

As far as I know, a woman does not start lactating until just before (in some women) or a few says after chlid birth. I do have a question that I'm hoping someone could answer though. I am a very young girl...17 to be exact and somebody told me that they think I've got a few symptoms of being pregnant...now, I've never been pregnant before so I wouldnt know, but is excessive peeing a sign of pregnancy? What about if your urine has no color to it? I have also been feeling very nausiated lately...can comeone please give me some answers?

yes, my sister when she was pregnant. both times she lactated within the first month of being pregnant. so i guess it would just depend on the girl.

Lissa, if i were you i would go get a pregnacy test. Peeing freg. is a sign of preg. and so is nausea.

I was able to squeeze milk out of my breast when i was about 6 weeks. We are born with milk in our breasts...it usually takes pregnancy to make it into a liquid.
If you want more evidence that shes pregnant, I would go to the doctors with her. The doctor can tell you within minutes if shes pregnant.

Good luck!

First of all why should this thread die? Anyways I am 31 weeks pregnant and noticed that colostrum can be expressed from my breast already.

lol 3 time nursing mom, I agree, lol

Amy, look at the date when this guy posted. It's been 6 months and he hasn't been here since his original posting. The question is moot at this point. Everyone is answering a question no one is asking.

yes sometimes a women can lactate within there third month im a pregnat and i started my first trimester and this is my first baby im going to haveso yes they can start lactating early that just means they are going to produce a lot of milk now you shouldnt be producing milk first unless she is breast pumping or milking them a lot and i wouldnt do it if dont want to go into labor early she needs to watch that

I just had a miscarriage after 12 weeks of pregnancy and at first beads of milk (or so it seemed) would come out when i applied pressure to my nipples. After that it turned into a sticky, clear liquid. I'm not sure if I was lactating but it is possible to have something resembling milk come out of there within your first trimester.

i'm 25 weeks pregnant and have been lactating since week 15... all clear fluid (nothing milky). apparently this is normal and can happen even earlier to women who have already had children (this is my first). it is all based on the individual woman's physiology.

I watched an episode of CSI once and there was this girl that thought she was pregnant so much that she was lactating. It's a mental disorder, but I forget what it is called. So she could be crazy

Hey Frank!
How you doing?
According to the date of your post, your girlfriend is 8 months along now, due in one more month. Have you FIGURED OUT IF SHE IS PREGNANT YET??!

Or are you still wondering and NEED US TO TELL YOU.

I am sure there are a ton of women on this board who will still respond to you, heck 3 months from now. She'll have had the baby then, and we will still be giving you our very educated opinion about whether or not she is pregnant.

I know all of us here on this board are really interested in finding out, because we keep posting on this thread even though you HAVE NEVER COME BACK TO READ WHAT WE HAVE RESPONDED.

But that's o.k. cuz we're all JUST IDIOTS!

Yes, infact a women can lactate before even having childeren. I know this because thats my problem. Its crazy i know and I have no ansewrs for it. the smart thing to do is go get a blood test. some women just like to trap men.
