I will look for some information for you BUT 1st have you checked the size of the breastsheild? They come in all sorts of sizes I had to go for the largest. Here is the site to give you an idea but that is usually the problem with sore nipples and pumping. http://www.medela.com/Ne wFiles/brpmpacc.html#personalfit_b s ↑ |

I've never really been able to pump much.. except when using the pump at the hospital. But I was always told to use any dripped breastmilk or to squirt a little to my hands.. makes an excellent moisterizer. When starting the first month is usually hardest with cracked nipples. Call the hospital that your baby was born.. they should have a lactation expert on staff to advise new mothers and talk about how to pump to avoid cracked nipples... it probly has more to do with the pump than anything! The best pumps have adjustable suction. or you might need different size shield like mamal said. Good luck! ↑ |
