My husband's ex wife doesn't want her/their daughter around me or my children. She claims I treat my children badly and that I have a trashy house and wants her daughter to have nothing to do with me or my kids. His ex wife has sole legal and physical custody with "reasonable visitation upon agreement of both parties" so his ex has to agree or else he can't... and it never fits her schedule for him to see her or have her meet him half way, 10 hours apart.
So my husband never gets to see his daughter but once a year or so. We're thinking that we could start a private home study for a year or two before going to court since he doesn't have the time right now to fix their custody... He's military and doing a drill sergeant curtailment which is a 7 day a week job.
Anyone heard of doing a private home study and it benefiting? Do you think that it might squash her claims that her child can't ever come over because of her fears that she'll get mistreated or ill? ↓
