My new husband and I are trying to change the parenting time on his two boys with his ex wife. In our current parenting plan it says that my husband has the boys everyother weekend from Sat to Tues. But for the last 8 months we have exchanged the boys every two weeks, which is my husbands work schedule. Every time he tries to talk to you about changing the parenting plan she gets mad and changes back to what the current parenting plan says. We have just bought a house and with her blessing enrolled them in the school that is nearest to our house, but after telling her that I was going to go back to work and could no longer give her free day care, she has enrolled them into the school that is close to her. He is trying to meet with her and a mediator but she refuses to meet with out her lawyer. I stay at home and will work part time during the day, she has a new baby and is going through another divorce and lives in a small two bedroom apartment, we would like to have physcial custody of them during the school year, but my question is would a judge agree to me having them alone during the two weeks that my husband is gone? We need suggestions and help to figure out how to deal with his ex...Please help!!!
