I need some support hear or maybe some tough love... I have a five year old who has been diagonosed ADHD and I put him on methylphindate. It is working very well for school and he is doing great. At the beginning of school it was not pretty and at 3 yrs old he was kicked out of a preschool. My ex if fighting me custody now because he doesn't think he should be on meds... he only has him four day's amonth and he will not give him his meds. The doctor said it won't harm him in the way of health but he may have a rebound effect from not taking his meds. I feel like pulling my hair out actually my x's LOL. Has anyone had any issues like this before? What are the chances a judge will grant this order? My x has a domestic violence on his record as well so please tell me I have nothing to worry about!

You can always call few lawyers for free consultation, and see what they say. They will know the best if you have a chance to win this or not. However solving things by going to court may not be for the best interest of your child. Try to see if you can find some co-parenting class for divorce or separated people in your local area. Maybe your ex and you can solve it on your on or with a counselor. It is also important to know why he is resisting giving this drug to your son. Me personally, I do not believe in giving drugs like this to kids, and will look to see for more natural remedies. But that is me :)
Good luck!!!

By the way, the fact that he has domestic violece, most likely has nothing to do in this case.
