This is my 2nd confirmed pregnancy i went for a scan to confirm thurs 11th and it seems i'm around 5 weeks pregnant which is when we quess i miscarried last time. However the scan didnt just reveal confirmation it also revealed that a re-occurring complex cyst had returned on my right ovary! it is approx 8cm x 9cm x 4cm and where i have had 5 operations on this cyst/ovary it has become more and more complicated each time...as i am 24 the doctors are trying not to remove the ovary all together however i wish they would. as it stands i only have 2 thirds of it left anyway.

the ladies that scanned me were suprised i have fallen pregnant at all as my left ovary is enlarged and also has a large cyst but that one looks wuite normal for early pregnancy.

a day after the scan on the 12th, i start to bleed. on my last miscarriage i started to bleed in the evening i bed rested until 4pm the following day and after a short walk i lost the baby entirely. i have relaxed for 2 days and still had short walks and yet have still not lost any further blood....sorry to be graphic but i am losing dark discharge occasionally but no blood or clots...

am i losing this baby or is it the cyst reacting to hormones...if it was a miscarriage surely there would have been more blood by now?

i am in contact with a doctor but their opinion is so mutual and well balanced its not giving me any direction....also do i start to take my folic acid again....as last time i took it i lost the baby this time i took it i start to bleed ... is that co-incidence?

First of all, I am sorry to hear about all your trouble. If I were you, I would just go to the hospitol, and demand to have a scan. This way you will know for sure and not stress so much. As for the folic acid, I would not stop taking it, because that is what you need to have in your body to develope your baby's brain. That is one of the most important things to take while pregnant. I hope things work out for you the best and I will pray that your baby is ok. Let us know in an update if you don't mind.
